Big 'Runner on Campus

The collapse of the Montana teams left more than just players scrambling, but one staff member has landed with a new team. Arch Ecker is going from the Helena Bighorns to the Santa Fe Roadrunners, where he'll also be helping in the sales department. Columbus' new USHL franchise finally got a name, the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets... Not a surprising choice, but a decent enough looking logo...

Not a big shocker, but Edmonton's getting a new WHL franchise in 2007.

AJHL gets a couple of players drafted by NHL...

Arch is one of my favorite hockey broadcasters and is certainly tops in the NAHL! Congratulations to the Roadrunners for snagging this fella and sorry to those in Helena for losing a great one!
