Hump Day News...

Former NAHL goalie Nick Niedert doesn't know the difference between spearing and butt-ending, and for that he should to to the box and feel shame. But other than that goof this clip is pure gold...

Gentlemen, tap your kegs and start your Zams - in New Jersey at least...

NAHL has fifteen players in the Frozen Four...

Does anyone have the attendance from last night's St. Louis Bandits - US Nats game? It was just an exhibition, but they were gunning for a record...

I was there, about 3-4000 people in attendance. I think the Bandits were very optimistic about the possible attendance especially with the Cardinals playing 3 blocks away to a full house.

I had the pleasure of playing with Niedert in Jr.B. He is a class act, a constant entertainer. Man, that clip brought back some awesome memories. Nice mustache!

Nickie Niedert, formerly of the Traverse City Enforcers of the CEHL. What a card, he is still one of the funniest players I've ever come across in hockey. Some say goalie have a loose screw or something, Nick's screws have all come out.

What's great on the news clip, is that the talking head is lapping it all up like it's gospel, while Niedert is clearly yanking her chain. Hi-freeking-larious!

Hey, Mr. "I-Was-There", St. Louis Bandits website is claiming over 10,000 people.

So are they counting tickets handed out, or butts in seats?

What's the REAL story? (c'MON, Marc, this is the kinda thing YOU should be ALL OVER!)

10,252 spectators

If there were more than 4,000 people there I will swallow my computer. Almost all the tickets were give aways, so I have no idea how they came up with that number. It is a ridiculous number to say the least.
