Rough week for sports bloggers

I'll toss this in as a side post for the day... First off, we had a media member get tossed from an NCAA ballgame for liveblogging during the game. The usually media-savvy NCAA will likely realize they just shot themselves in the ass and reverse their policy, but still. Chalk one up for the always consistent NCAA (Fighting Irish okay, Fighting Sioux not)... Second, we have the case of the blogger being sued by the media whore. Just so the media whore understands, he's a public figure, so calling him a media whore is perfectly kosher (especially when he is one, the lawsuit itself is evidence of that). The fact I'm not saying the media whore's name is not out of fear of reprisals, but because he's such a media whore I wish to deprive him of the opportunity to see his name in print. Hang in there Neate, the judge will just LOVE the "seize and desist" letter from the marketing company (see, I told you he's a media whore)... I guess I should start stacking sandbags in my front yard, because someone will probably be coming after me now...
