Got a scoop for folks... The Omaha Lancers and Indiana Ice are going to play exhibition games against the QMJHL this fall. Expect a formal announcement soon...

In other news, the UHL is now down to a perilous five teams with the loss of the Chicago Hounds. I only mention this as further collapse will likely strengthen junior franchise prospects in the region.

NAHL meetings in Colorado are in progress. For the first time in memory, the Texas Tornado are not being represented by Tony Curtale - Matt Canavan is sitting in. Take that for what it is worth...

Wow, CHL fans are going to be all over your scoop! I know there is lot of talk that "my league is better than your league". Everyone who thinks it matters will be watching.
