Thursday News

It's "Return of the Skating Dead" Week here in North Texas. Our babysitter came around last night selling a coupon book for a school fundraiser, and what do we find in it? Yup, 50% off coupons for the Lone Star Cavalry (click the images for a larger view). Nevermind that not quite three years ago exactly the team rode off into the sunset for a three-year sentence in Santa Fe. Oh well, maybe I can redeem these in Topeka, eh? These may indeed be the last remaining artifacts of an extinct franchise (at least in the local sense), unless there's still the banner and giant embossed sign hanging in the arena formerly known as Blue Line.
