NAHL prepares to announce selection of commish

I've had a couple of different sources inform me that the NAHL has made their selection of a new commissioner. I do not, however, know when the announcement will be made. Out of fairness to the league and the selected candidate (and in part to save my @$$ lest I be wrong on this), I am not going to name the selection. I do hope, however, that the announcement is made as soon as possible. Sorry to be such a tease...

Update: The selection has been confirmed... just waiting on the contract before it becomes official and announced...

For those who might be wondering what this picture is about, it's from St. Peter's Basillica. The white smoke from the chimney is from the burning of ballots from the final vote, and means that a new pope has finally been selected.

With apologies to Benedict XVI, I thought it was rather fitting...

Technically, it's not St. Peter's but the Sistine Chapel which is located near St. Peter.

Whom did the scrutiny reveal???

I don't expect readers to follow every news source or forum (that's what I'm here for, right?), but here's some small measure of validation:

Thanks Marc, I know you need to rely on others. I assume this is the guy that plans on running this rink who is always giving you this information--to keep the rink in the spotlight...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I cannot address the questions about the Brahmas and Blue Line right now. I will say, the post by Marc Foster referred to an announcement regarding the facility. It is coming. In fact, we are working on the press release right now. I talked to Marc about this before he went on vacation, and he made his post.

I am a long time supporter of the Brahmas, and would love to see them play at Blue Line. Right now, there is no agreement in place. That does not mean they will not play there, and this does not mean they will. IF and WHEN there is something concrete, for better or worse, it will be posted.

(The other) Mike

Funny How Mike Sanderson Continues to tell everyone he hopes they play there! Was by the Blue Line a week ago.. Whoa... not good
