The radio announcer for the Texas Tornado just tried to out do you on Homer Call, Marc.
Some would suggest Alex "Cheeks" Kyrias and I have been in our own Homer Call competition for the last few years...
he was fired. heard the owners are real control freaks and jerks, overly involved and visible. they were losing a lot of $$ and he was getting paid pretty good. too bad, they were not that bad, had a few good players. sounds like that team will not last up there long. word is no one wants to put money in the owners pockets by attending games, and maybe he owns team just so his son can make the team next season.
someone had said that mendleson likes to do a lot of things on his own, and owners wanted to be more involved. just what hockey needs, more owners that think they know what it takes.
