Quick Lunch Update

Here's a couple quickies... First up... there's a vote tonight by the city council in Kingston to kill their arena project. Predictably, the Fronts' owner is threatening to move his team if the arena dies. How it signed a 20 year lease on a building that's not secured is beyond me. I also take issue with the flow of pressure between the Ice Dogs and Niagara Falls, as reported in the above article. It was NF that killed the arena deal that would have allowed the Dogs to move. So now we may have two teams available for next season. North Bay has to be licking their chops. The other article, very much belated, is from Wenatchee. Somehow I missed this one on the local effort to attract the BCHL. Of course, it's not a secret, but here's more background for those interested...
