Topeka and Santa Fe (sorry, no Atchison)

It looks like the Santa Fe Roadrunners have found a new home, as NAHL governors approved their relocation to Topeka for next season. It's unknown if the team will keep their same name/logo, or change. My vote is for something with a railroad theme...

Man, where do you get this stuff?

Not sure I get the "Atchison" reference.

It's the old route for the Sante Fe Railroad Company. There was a song back in the 50's or 60's about a railroad and a portion of one of the lines in the song goes " the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe.

MC's got it, although my reference was more the name than the route. A,T, & SF was the full name for the "Santa Fe railway" before the merger with Burlington Northern to form BNSF...

As for the song, it would have been a completely wasted reference to mention the Harvey Girls song (1947 Oscar for Best Music/Original Song) on the other guy ...

Then there's a Speedy Gonzales reference where he mentions the "Atchison, Tabasco, and Santa Fe," but that one is admittedly pretty esoteric...
