| The NAHL finally got around to taking the interim off of Mark Frankefeld's Commissioner title last week. He'd been the interim commish since Eric Krukpa was invited to leave a few months into his tenure. I still haven't decided what to make of this long story on ESPN's website about the Swift Current tragedy 20 years later. I'm not sure Swift Current, which faced the exploits of Graham James on top of the bus tragedy, knows how to feel, either... and maybe that's the story. As someone who has spend a considerable amount of time in Southern SK and in Swift in particular the way that the bus tragedy and coaching incident with James has been somewhat ignored in Swift is consistent with the overall mindset of the Plains - life is very difficult in these parts and there is no sense dwelling on the tragic and the negative. You move on.
Whats up with Deja Blue and the Tornadoes...its rumored to be closing for remodeling and adding capacity?
