NORPAC/AWHL Update

Talk about false advertising... sorry about the title. Based on my understanding of last night's call, things are still in a state of flux. The league's annual meetings are tomorrow in Seattle, which begs the question why a conference call was needed at all last night - couldn't the business wait? Anyway, it's a mess that I'm sure will sort itself out soon enough.

Perhaps it was a good idea to forwarn everyone that there may be a fireworks show?
Gives all sides of the table time to load up for bear season?

LOL!!! good one!

The call was due to the AWHL idea falling apart.

It is dead in the water

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:43 PM, May 04, 2007) :

It hasn't fallen apart - it's being undermined by the remaining NorPac teams.

The sad thing is.......Juniors is falling apart. Egos & greed are leading the parade.
Why is it necessary to re-invent the wheel every season?
Players with potential & parents with slimming resources are getting screwed.

I'm not sure if the comment immediately above this one is directed at me (or my blog) or by one of the commentators in this thread, but if you have direct evidence of "bogus knowledge" by all means put it on the table.

I'm not exactly sure what "bogus knowledge" means anyway. "Knowledge is the comprehension and/or perception of facts. If the facts are bogus (incorrect), then there is no knowledge.

Ergo, if you have your own facts upon which to base your argument, please present them. Otherwise, your post is nothing more than a drive-by attack that lacks any validity.

It would be a shame to not see the AWHL go. They were a good Jr. A league back in the day.

It looks like 3A or B would be a good fit for that region. Next to NAHL and USHL, they are the largest draw according to Pointstreak. It would make sense for that to happen. But when have we seen USAH do the right thing.

One of the commenters said the Norpac undermined the AWHL. Where do you get your info? If you know what happened, then post it. If not, don't blow smoke. Thank you
