don't know if you are interested or not, but there is the first ever Women's Junior Hockey league being formed next season. It is being founded by the North American Hockey Academy in Stowe, Vermont along with the Washington Pride (19U Tier I Bronze medalist at the USA National Tournament)

Here are the links on both programs and some of the information.

North American Hockey Academy(NAHA): www.winter-hawks.org
It is the only program of its kind in the USA for elite female players. The program has been featured in the NY Times, on the NPR, and in newspapers around the USA. They have had 100% college placement almost since the beginning of the program. The white team will be playing in the newly formed league

More detailed Informtion about the purpose and plans for the new league from the Pride's governing body(Montgomery Blue Devils):

Women's Junior League: www.wjuniors.com: information is not posted yet on the new site

The league will conclude the season with a world cup game, in which teams from

Why is Fort Vancouver still always the first comment on blog posts that have nothing to do with them. Get over it and move on. I make a motion that NO FURTHER NEWS OR INFORMATION on Fort Vancouver be included on the blog and ALL COMMENTS RELATING TO THEM DELETED!

Marc, any chance of that?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:25 PM, May 17, 2007) :

AMEN, unless it is updated newsworthy info put up by Marc. I think he can lock the blog - so no comments can be made to particular posts. At least I've seen him do that in the past.

What would all the losers have to talk about?

This is my sandbox and I can pretty much do whatever the heck I want, announced policy or not.

I'm as sick of FV comments on non-FV posts as much as everyone else, so from here out I'll be deleting FV posts from places where they don't belong. Feel free to keep yammering on from older (content-related) posts.

I'd rather not shut down comments completely, though I have done so in the past when people get completely out of control.

Folks, I'm not kidding... if it's a FV comment and it's not in a FV blog post, it's gone.

The RBC was a success in Prince George?
Was there anybody at the final game?
