| USHL made a pitch to Battle Creek yesterday. Josh Mervis was part of the show (see related video HERE), along with Jim Kronschabel of Sioux City and Michigan State Frozen Four GWG scorer and USHL alum Justin Abdelkader. The article briefly mentions Mervis' recent efforts to place a team in Louisville. I expect to hear something on the Louisville front soon, but believe Battle Creek may take some time to develop. The OHL vs. USA battle continues, as the Kingston Frontenacs drafted Ethan Werek, who is already committed to playing for Boston University. Kingston didn't take a flyer and pick the kid in the last round, but used their first round pick. Werek is still taking the US college route... Folks are still going at it on the previous posts, and I'm not going to justify anything from the pro-FV side by providing a response.
marc, I'd like your opinion. Do you feel that teams in the nahl, such as the tornadoes, roadrunner, bandits or phantoms would be competitive at the ushl level. #2 Ive got a group of local investors that are looking at putting in a 4000-4500 seat arena in the local area. Originally we we're looking at the chl, but with rumor control saying that odessa, lubbock, and amarillo are thinking about the nahl its thrown a kink into our way of thinking. A 2500-3000 seat arena along with a 6team (9 with AK)Is the talent there for this amount of growth.

I believe the legitimacy of the question (or lack thereof) has been displayed. You obviously aren't serious because you are goading him for an answer.
Do your own due diligence and find out your answers or pay him a consultation fee.
Since you want him to discuss your topic in public, how about naming the market or markets you are looking at. Only fair.

i don't know where you get your info, but all one has to do is look at LEGITIMATE colege committments to figure this one out!
