Monday News

A lot of times with leagues and how they operate it is the little things that set them above the pack. Something the USHL approved recently was to shift from providing tape of games to DVDs. Makes sense, since the technology is shifting, plus DVDs provide a better quality picture and more options when reviewing games and/or incidents. Something else the USHL is moving towards for next season is a standardized template for line charts. No longer will scouts squint to decipher handwritten charts. I work game ops in GB, where the teams/refs have been able to get DVD's for five years. I guess I didn't realize others didn't do this.
