Tuesday News

WHOOPSIE!!!! Even the Canadian media is saying that Hockey Canada's Parent Information Handbook is flawed. More to the point, it's biased against players taking the NCAA route...

Here's the highlights from the BCHL's annual meetings. I've been beating this drum for years, but USA Hockey and nearly all American leagues do a piss-poor job of relaying meetings results to the public. I'm not saying that the RDJHL (Rinky Dink Junior Hockey League) needs to make a national media splash, but just getting the results of the meetings on their websites for folks to see within the following week would be nice. This sport exists in too much of a vacuum, and unfortunately the problem is institutional.

MJHL officially back to a shootout...

Lethbridge Hurricanes seeking a new play-by-play announcer. Too bad I don't speak Canadian...

Fort Frances regains SIJHL team...

South Shore Wild and Avon River Rats join Nova Scotia Jr. C League...

you got that right - you won't see Annual Congress meeting minutes until NEXT year about a month prior to the meeting. Along with year end reports. (see USAH website for last years info)
