who cares, it's all fake bs hockey contrived by adults, if these kids were any good, they'd be in ushl bchl, etc. not fake made up junior leagues. and whoever is going to say h don't blame the kids, they just want to play, that's fine, but how about the F&*&^%$ "ADULTS" preying on these kids who aspire but have no real shot? COntreares has been stealing money for years, and Soskin well, we all know about him and what happened in waterloo/toledo years ago....STAY AWAY@@@@@@@@
Contreras is a putz! It got ran out of the Maine Moose organization. He can't skate with a peewee team let alone a Junior A team. Good Luck to anyone that goes to that team!!

Before Maine, Contreras was out of the only job he could get in Colorado after the players on a HS team he was coaching complained to management that he was creepy in the locker room and a lousy coach to boot. I'm just relieved he's not back in Colorado again because he was spotted hanging out at local rinks during HS tryouts for the spring USA Hockey league in the late winter.
Contreras was not the director of hockey operations and head coach of the Maine Moose last year for very long. He was forced into resignation in OCTOBER last year, after several unacceptable incidents with players, arena staff, parents of players, and frankly, for being in WAY over his head. I know several players who were on his roster and they all share the view that he is a poor coach, and many felt very uncomfortable being alone with him.
Oh my gawd! Another Paul Contreras sighting???? SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!!!!
Of course, he was once a protoge of Keith McAdams, so what do you expect?
