Wednesday Evening News
My Oklahoma Sooners (ACHA D1 club) released their roster last night... Those of you not from this region will have to bear with me for a moment, but I'm a little fired up about this team. Eleven newcomers join the Sooners this season, including former Texas Tornado defenseman Austin Miller, who has transferred to OU from NCAA D1 Providence, and forward Sean McCauley, who played last season with the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets of the USHL. Five other new Sooners played last season in the NAHL before making the decision to attend OU. Not bad for a club team... There's a Tony Curtale update buried inside the Springfield Junior Blues notes. He's still doing some work with Next Testing. I'm guessing the AHL team in question was the Peoria Rivermen...
