Wednesday News

San Angelo is moving closer to joining the NAHL. The former owners of the CHL Lubbock Cotton Kings have an NAHL application and are working towards getting their lease with the San Angelo Coliseum, which seats a little over 5,000. We need to work on the writer of the article, however, as calling this a "youth" team isn't going to win over anyone.

Maritime Jr. A brawl blown way out of proportion. I can't say I agree with this one... On one hand, this was no big deal - hey just a typical line brawl right?!?? (you be the judge). One the other, the media blew it out of proportion and tainted the image of the league (yes, the league is the victim here, apparently. But on the third hand, the league was over the top for trying to lay down the law to protect their image? Sorry, that just doesn't fly.

True I didn't like the 'youth' thing either. She is a hockey fan and is glad she'll be able to cover it so she'll be an asset.
