the article in the Bis Tribune is insanity. the NA Claiming responsibility for all those NTDP guys, and former nahl guys, is the equivalent to Texas claiming responsibility for Bryan Leetch

Couer d' alene has moved their team to Cody Wyo.

Who needs Leetch when Texas has Dave McKee?

Ummm, what league did the NTDP guys play in? They didn't develop playing with themselves. What about the recent trend of kids committing straight out of midgets, should the USHL (or whatever league they were in) get "credit" for them? Perhaps junior leagues shouldn't claim NHL players who go to college first, using your logic.

Bottom line... there are no universal standards for alumni claiming. Did these kids play in these leagues? Yes, and that is what makes them alumni.

As for the CDA-to-Cody news, I posted that nearly two weeks ago... twice...

Is Moon going to be their coach?

The NAHL should get the credit for the NTPD guys as that is the league they played in when drafted.
As for the other ones, they should be mentioned as they had previously played in the NAHL before moving to XXXXX.

The article made it seem like all of them came straight out of the NAHL. You can't give ALL the credit to a single league when they have played in 1 or more leagues since then.

A USHL team, Indianapolis, is taking credit for Gwindt's NHL draft selection and Kattelus going to Michigan Tech - neither has played a game for Indianapolis - what is different about that claim? Seems to me that both Jr. leagues make similar claims – let them market how they want.
